Kidney issues, FIV: poor Vagabond has a delicate health!

1. His kidneys are no longer functioning well enough...

Vagabond is a six-year-old cat who was abandoned by his owner. Left to fend for himself overnight, he roamed the streets.

Unfortunately, he suffers from severe kidney failure, recently detected via a blood test. We thus have to administer him treatment.

2. His health is fragile due to FIV

Vagabond tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Syndrome). He has a persistent abscess on his tail, which is not healing and has necrosed. Hence, surgery will be necessary to remove it…

3. Blankets would keep him warm

A set of blankets would provide Vagabond with a clean and comfortable place to lie down post-surgery. It would also reduce the risk of infection to the wound. The warmth and comfort would aid in his recovery!

4. We are lacking in support…

With the rise in abandonment, we are encountering considerable difficulties. Managing about forty cats at the charity and feeding stray cats outside requires resources we do not possess. With low support, it is becoming challenging to meet all these needs!
