Missing teeth, gum pain, difficulty eating: Mosquito has contracted the calicivirus!

In addition to canned food, this collection will allow Mosquito to receive a shelter if the goal is reached.

1. He is unwell!

Mosquito is a 15-year-old cat that has calicivirus. He drools excessively, a number of his teeth are missing and his gums are sometimes inflamed. All these factors make eating difficult for him. He is no longer able to chew dry biscuits at all!

2. Canned food would help him regain strength

Canned food specifically designed for senior cats would allow Mosquito to eat without experiencing pain. Soft and moist, this type of diet would be more suitable for him than dry biscuits. Being able to replenish his energy on a daily basis would assist him in regaining his health!

3. He lives outdoors!

Mosquito lives outside as he does not feel comfortable indoors. However, being exposed to cold and damp conditions is continuously weakening him. Considering his age and health issues, we are worried about him and fear that he may not survive the winter without shelter...

4. A shelter would protect him from the cold and rain

The shelter that Mosquito will receive as a bonus if his canned food collection is successful.

With a shelter, Mosquito could find suitable cover in case of severe weather conditions. This would enable him to recuperate more easily.

5. We have lost valuable support!

We have been experiencing major financial difficulties since the recent loss of two sponsorships, as many donors can no longer afford to help us.

We are planning to organise new collections in supermarkets and endeavour to raise awareness about our cause by communicating through the press. But the current economic climate is not conducive to donations...
