1. He only has three legs…

Pep's is a gentle tomcat of around six years old who has lived through some very tough times. Hit by a car a few years ago, he was found with a severely injured leg and the start of gangrene. But as if that wasn't enough, he had also contracted tetanus, which left his limbs completely stiff…

In order to save him, his right hind leg, which was too damaged, had to be amputated. He also had to undergo treatment for tetanus.

2. Canned food would help keep him going

Even though Pep's is now healed, living with such a handicap is a constant struggle. Canned cat food would greatly benefit him, offering him a daily energy boost that could help him stay fit and healthy despite everything!

3. We have hundreds of animals to care for…

Unfortunately, Pep's isn't a unique case. Every day, we devote our efforts to looking after stray cats in the Berre region. We treat them, feed them, and neuter them to help reduce animal suffering. All in all, nearly 300 cats rely on us! Some, like Pep's, are too weak or ill to return to the outdoors and live in foster homes instead. But all of this is expensive, and the veterinary bills are getting heavier. We're struggling to cope!
