1. The eye operation left him with aftermath...

Garfield is a cat who once suffered from cat flu and almost lost his eyes because of it. They were red and pus-filled, as his tear fluid could no longer drain. So, he had to undergo surgery.

Sadly, the procedure has affected his salivary glands to the extent that he can no longer groom himself. His fur forms knots and looks quite dull....

2. Canned food would help him recover strength

While awaiting his next veterinary consultation, Garfield will need to refuel his energy. Canned food would be perfect to provide him with a steady stream of nutrients while keeping him well hydrated.

3. The situation remains as dire as ever!

We're facing a very strained financial situation, with fewer collections and a low number of adoptions taking place. And that's without even considering the significant veterinary costs associated with treating the numerous sick cats we welcome!

Providing them with appropriate food, often vital, and finding them blankets remains a costly endeavour for our association with limited resources....
