Poor Plume has had a series of trials: blindness, epilepsy, and aftermath of an old fracture...

1. She limps due to an old fracture

Plume is a delightful five-year-old cat, but her life has not been easy so far. When she was very young, she was found trapped in a car engine with a fractured pelvis! She was too young at the time to undergo surgery, and as a result, the fracture healed itself. Unfortunately, her bones did not mend correctly, and she now suffers from a persistent limp.

2. She lives with epilepsy

As if that wasn't enough, Plume is epileptic. She is on medication to manage her seizures, but they still occur from time to time. During these distressing episodes, she circles around, shakes, or even bites herself. These episodes severely drain her energy.

3. She's blind

Plume was born blind. With all these hardships, it was unsustainable for her to live outside. We placed her in a foster home, where she is much safer.

4. Canned food to help her regain her strength

To help her overcome her challenges, Plume needs a diet that is rich and full of vitamins. Nutritious canned food could both give her a little energy boost and provide a day-to-day treat. It would be a real helping hand for her!

5. There are hundreds of animals in need...

Plume is not the only one who needs our help. We care for many stray cats in Berre and the surrounding areas. We feed them, provide medical care, and neuter them. Every day, nearly 300 cats depend on our help! Some of them, like Plume, are too weak or ill to survive outside and are being looked after in foster homes. However, all this incurs significant costs, and the veterinary bills are becoming unbearable... We're struggling to provide for them all!
