Weakened by age and suffering from a heart attack, Poon's needs to be supplemented!

1. He had a heart attack...

Poon's is a 25-year-old horse, who was at a riding club. He suffered a heart attack during a lesson, which is why we took him in. With the cold and his age, he is more vulnerable and tends to lose weight easily.

2. Pellets would help him get stronger

To effectively regain his strength, Poon's will need pellets. Once moistened, he could ingest them easily, without the risk of Esophageal obstruction. It would provide him with the opportunity to replenish his daily nutrients, to stay fit this winter.

3. We are on a slippery slope...

We are currently caring for nine horses, three dogs, and five cats... Between our dwindling pellet stocks and recent large veterinary expenses, the situation is becoming critical!
