1. Saved from a trader, she was left to fend for herself...

Jacinthe was purchased as part of a batch in early 2023, rescued from a trader in Lozère. Considered too old, she was no longer of any use to him...

2. Her health problems weaken her...

With age, Jacinthe has lost many teeth and weight. Her immune system is depleted, and despite the hay and blankets, she struggles to get warm and recover her strength. The recent loss of a horse she was very attached to also took a heavy toll on her, worsening her condition...
