Viking suffers from terrible dizziness and can hardly move!

1. His dizziness prevents him from moving normally

Viking is a free-ranging cat of about 4 years old that we feed on a site. One day, we found him lying on his side, unable to move. We immediately understood that he was in distress and rushed him to the vet office.

The vet's diagnosis revealed a vestibular syndrome related to an ear pathology. Viking experiences constant dizziness that renders his movements almost impossible. He also has an external ear infection and a suspected infection behind the eardrum. For three weeks, he has been receiving injections of antibiotics and cortisone...

Because of his dizziness, his head remains tilted permanently and he moves very little. To eat, he slowly crawls to his food bowl. This struggle is compounded by nausea, further exhausting him.

2. Tasty canned food would help him take his medications

In order to consume his antibiotics effortlessly, he needs moist and appetising food. This would also help him regain strength to endure his treatment and cope with his dizziness.

3. Our resources are being stretched to their limit

We have about 75 cats to care for, scattered across various locations, and only three volunteers. Physically and financially, it's incredibly tough. We organise collections, lotteries, whatever we can, but it's simply not enough. Our personal savings are already severely depleted and they're not inexhaustible... We can't cover all the needs any longer!
