Missing teeth, gum pain, difficulty eating: Mosquito is carrying the calicivirus!

1. He's unwell!

Mosquito is a 15-year-old cat that has the calicivirus. He drools significantly, is missing a few teeth and his gums occasionally get inflamed. All of these issues create difficulties for him to eat. He's no longer able to chew on dry food!

2. He lives outside!

Mosquito stays outdoors as he doesn't feel comfortable inside. Yet, being exposed to the cold and humidity progressively weakens him each day. Given his age and health problems, we are deeply concerned for him and fear he might not survive the winter without shelter...

3. Blankets would keep him warm

With blankets, Mosquito could better retain his body heat. This would not only reduce the risk of him falling even more seriously ill but also enable him to have a more restful sleep.

4. We've lost precious supporters!

We're encountering significant financial challenges following the recent loss of two sponsorships as many of our donors no longer have the means to assist us.

We plan on organising new supermarket collections and trying to raise even more awareness for our cause by getting coverage in the press. However, the current economic climate doesn't bode well for donations...
