1. He barely has any teeth left...

Loulou is a venerable cat of roughly 15 years we rescued from the pound. Over the years, he’s lost almost all his teeth, and the few remaining ones are in terrible condition. This makes his meals difficult, as he is no longer able to chew at all.

His age is actually an estimate, because given the state of his teeth, it's hard to say precisely! Among the five elderly cats we've taken in over recent months, it's him who’s faring the worst. He's losing weight and his strength is waning...

2. Canned food could help him gain some weight

For Loulou, the only solution is to eat moist food. With cans of cat food suitable for his age, he could finally eat without pain and start to put on some weight!

3. Veterinary costs are suffocating us...

Our association takes care of many animals : horses, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats... All the animals under our care are nearing their end or suffering from severe health conditions. The animals stay with us until their last day. They require constant, and often very expensive, care...

Altogether, there are more than 150 animals who depend on us every day. Yet the donations are increasingly scarce... Over the recent weeks, a major surgery for a horse and a rescue operation involving hens and rabbits have left us completely overwhelmed. We really need a helping hand to pull through!
