Missing teeth, mouth ulcers, difficulty eating: Edel has calicivirus!

1. The inside of her mouth is highly inflamed!

Edel is a six-year-old cat who lives outdoors. Unfortunately, she's contracted a calicivirus, causing some of her teeth to fall out and ulcers to develop in her mouth, making chewing painful. Hence, we have a treatment to administer to her.

2. Canned food would allow her to eat more easily

A diet of wet food would be easier for Edel to consume than dry biscuits. This would also be a good opportunity for her take her medication while staying hydrated and replenishing her energy daily.

3. Typhus has wreaked havoc!

Following a typhus epidemic, we've grappled with enormous veterinary costs. Feeding our 70 charges has become challenging due to our significantly impacted budget! We're also in need of blankets to keep them warm this winter…
