Arthritis, weight loss: Quite needs to be perked up!

1. He is so skinny!

Quite is a 23 year old Swedish horse, who spent his life in a riding club. He was very worn out and thin upon his arrival three months ago. Despite all our efforts, we are having a hard time getting him back to health!

2. He is suffering from arthritis...

As time has passed, Quite has developed joint problems. He's getting increasingly stiff in his legs, which at times handicaps him. This arthritis also tends to worsen in cold and damp weather conditions, like the present...

3. With pellets, he could regain strength

A dietary supplement like pellets could help Quite get stronger. This would provide an opportunity for him to gain some weight back and return to a healthier form. His joint discomfort would likely lessen as well.

4. We are short of resources!

Our association has been in existence for three years and lends a hand to neglected or mistreated equines.

Currently, we are looking after the feeding and healthcare of 10 animals. Sadly, the funding we receive is far from sufficient… We won't make it without help!
