1. She lives outdoors...

Mimine is a very elderly cat, who has always lived outside. She is situated in a secure area on the outskirts of the shelter because she is too wild to tolerate an indoor life. Sadly, the location is damp and highly exposed to wind...

2. She has ulcers in her mouth!

Mimine suffers from chronic calicivirus. She drools quite a bit due to ulcers and inflammations in her mouth. Consequently, we administer medicinal injections to alleviate the pain. However, the condition worsens in winter, as the cold dampens her overall health.

3. With a shelter, she would be well protected

A cat shelter could provide Mimine with a safe haven during adverse weather conditions. It would expose her less to the cold and humidity, thus helping her survive the winter period more comfortably.

4. We're struggling to cover costs for everyone

We care for close to 200 cats, but our resources are limited: donations are inconsistent, financial assistance is scarce, and trolley collections are infrequent. Online fundraising efforts struggle to meet basic necessities.

Despite using her modest pension to entirely support these animals, our President's efforts still fall short. Every day, it becomes increasingly difficult to meet the vital needs of these cats who completely depend on us...
