Damaged eyes, inflamed gums, irritated nose: little Lea has a calicivirus and cat flu!

1. The inside of her mouth is inflamed!

Léa is a four-month-old kitten with early signs of calicivirus. Her gums are red, which complicates eating for her. Hence, we have a treatment regimen for her.

2. She has a heavy cat flu...

Léa also suffers from severe cat flu. Her nose is running, she sneezes and has ulcers in her eyes. We are giving her medications, hoping to provide some relief...

3. Canned food would allow her to feed more easily

Wet food would be easier for Léa to swallow than dry pellets. It would also be a way for her to take her medications while getting a daily energy boost. This could help her to continue growing well, despite everything!

4. Typhus has wrought havoc!

Following a typhus epidemic, we were faced with huge veterinary bills. Feeding our 70 protectees has become complicated since our budget was directly hit! We also need blankets to keep them warm this winter...
