Suffering from severe kidney failure, Samuel is very thin!

1. He has lost a lot of weight due to kidney problems…

Samuel is a seven-year-old cat who has a serious kidney failure. His kidneys no longer filter out toxins properly, which is putting a significant strain on his body. As a result of this, Samuel has continued to lose weight and now only weights 2.5 kg! He is therefore undergoing treatment in the form of home infusions.

2. Blankets would keep him warm

With blankets, Samuel could seek refuge in a warm spot to rest. His sleep would then be more restorative, and would increase his chances of gaining strength, despite his kidney problems.

3. Typhus has wreaked havoc!

Following a typhus epidemic, we had to bear enormous veterinary costs. Feeding our 70 wards has become complicated as our budget has been directly impacted! We also need blankets to keep them warm this winter...
