Mirabelle, an 8-year-old cat. She suffers from calicivirus, causing her to have at least one bout of illness a month. Throughout these episodes, she drools heavily and needs a cortisone injection for relief but its effect often does not last an entire month...

The dry food is too salty and causes her pain. A wet diet would be critical so she can eat despite her bouts of illness and inability to chew.
