1. We saved her from abandonment

Finette is a 10-year-old cat we found wandering the streets 8 months ago. Cruelly abandoned, she wouldn't have survived long without care given her health condition. Thankfully, a foster family took her in.

2. Diabetes weakens her every day

Veterinary examinations revealed that Finette has diabetes. This disease causes her to be very tired and lose her appetite, weakening her considerably.

To manage her diabetes, Finette receives insulin injections monthly, as well as a daily treatment. Despite her docility during the treatments, her condition is not improving, which is particularly concerning given her advanced age.

3. She needs special diabetic canned food

Finette needs food specifically designed for diabetic cats. These special cans will help her better manage her blood sugar levels while providing her with the necessary nutrients for her wellbeing.

4. Our association is facing numerous challenges

We care for 40 cats and kittens in foster homes, in addition to feeding 80 stray cats daily. With fewer available foster homes and the approach of spring which heralds the arrival of new kittens, the situation is becoming worrisome.
