Arche de Ploum decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.

Lixy is fighting parasites that weaken her every day!

1. We saved her from the cold

Lixy is a little 3-month-old kitten who was wandering alone on the streets. We took her in three weeks ago, as she wouldn't have survived the winter temperatures.

2. Her body is riddled with parasites

Poor Lixy suffers from a major parasitic infestation that prevents her from properly digesting her food. She's been treated with anti-parasitics, but her condition still raises concerns.

3. Diarrhoea is wearing her out

The parasites are causing persistent diarrhoea which weakens her by the day. Despite the anti-diarrheal treatment in place, Lixy is struggling to regain her strength and isn't gaining weight as she should be.

4. She needs canned food for sensitive intestines

To help Lixy recover, a special diet for cats with digestive difficulties is essential. These suitable canned foods will help her to better absorb nutrients and finally start putting on weight again.

5. Our association faces numerous challenges

We care for 40 cats and kittens in foster homes, plus an additional 80 stray cats we feed every day. With fewer foster homes available and the coming of spring heralding the arrival of new kittens, the situation is becoming concerning.

The rising cost of food and veterinary fees are putting a substantial strain on the association's finances...
