Arche de Ploum decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.

Damy is battling cat flu which is weakening him every day!

1. We found her on the streets

Damy is a one-year-old female cat who was wandering the streets when we rescued her at 6 months old. She has since found a shelter in a foster home, but her health worries us.

2. Cat flu prevents her from breathing normally

For several weeks, Damy has been suffering from cat flu which hampers her daily life. Her nose blocked, she sneezes frequently and her eyes are constantly running. These symptoms exhaust her and prevent her from living normally.

3. She is losing her appetite due to her illness

Cat flu has direct effects on her diet: with her blocked nose, Damy has lost her sense of smell, and hence her appetite. She is under complete treatment: eye drops several times a day, inhalation and appropriate medicines.

4. She needs appetising canned food

To help her regain the desire to eat despite her loss of smell, canned food would be ideal. More smelly and appetising than dry food, it would encourage her to nourish properly during her convalescence.

5. The association faces many challenges

We take care of 40 cats and kittens in foster homes, as well as feed 80 free cats daily. With fewer available foster homes and the approaching spring heralding the arrival of new kittens, the situation becomes worrying.

The increase in food prices and veterinary expenses weighs heavily on the financial condition of the association...
