Hope is a one year old cat, who lives outdoors, on a feeding site. Unfortunately, she is deaf, which is a real challenge for living on the street.
Since she is sociable and very affectionate, we plan to place her in a foster home as soon as possible, to ensure her safety.
Hope has chronic cat flu: she often has runny eyes and struggles to breathe. A scan is planned for her and, perhaps, surgery, as it's possible her nasal passages are blocked; this could explain her deafness...
A nutritious and appetising diet would be perfect for Hope. Such canned food would stimulate her appetite and keep her well-hydrated. She could thus build up her strength, and combat cat flu more effectively.
With the crisis, stores are opening fewer slots for trolley collections. As we are not a priority and there are many other associations, times are tough, and we’re struggling to collect donations. Managing 230 animals under these conditions is becoming increasingly tense!
