Safran is a cat of around two and a half years, who lives and sleeps outdoors. Poor Safran is highly exposed to the cold of winter and moisture, which weakens his health…
Increasingly vulnerable, Safran ended up catching cat flu, a common disease among street cats.
His eyes are very teary and his nose is completely blocked. We therefore have a tablet treatment to give him, as well as eye drops to apply.
With a cat house, Safran would no longer have to endure the rain in bad weather. Being able to shelter there would allow him to have more restorative rest, while protecting him from the wind and cold.
Our association is based in the Gard and has been taking care of stray cats for a year. We have sterilised about thirty, and feed nearly a hundred, which represents considerable costs. The few adoptions we've managed don't come anywhere near covering all our expenses!
