1. He has lost weight…

Backary hails from an animal park that has now ceased operations. Since he came under our care, he has a tendency to become weak in cold and damp conditions. With the advent of winter, he has lost too much condition…

2. Pellets would help him regain strength

With a diet of pellets, Backary would be able to replenish his body with essential nutrients daily. Gaining strength would help him regain a better form, and gradually improve his condition.

3. The period is extremely tough!

We have ever increasing numbers of animals to care for and recently had to grapple with a typhus outbreak among our cats.

With the wind and winter rains damaging the pens and cabins of our horses, some animals unfortunately find themselves standing in water… And to top it off, the hay we have is of poor quality this year, which means it lacks in nutritional value!
