Max is having a pile-up of health problems!

1. He was in a critical condition

Max is a cat of about 12 years old. He was found in front of the shelter, his eyes shut, drooling due to a heavy infection related to cat flu. We feared that he wouldn't survive...

2. He still has severe after-effects

Max suffers from a very debilitating chronic cat flu: we had to remove all his teeth because he constantly had ulcers in his mouth... 

He’s also seropositive; he catches all the infections around him.

3. Canned food is vital for him

He can't eat kibble without teeth! Canned food suitable for his age could strengthen his immunity and keep him healthy despite his delicate health.

3. We struggle to cover costs for everyone

We take care of nearly 200 cats, but our resources are limited: donations are irregular, help is scarce, and trolley operations are exceptional. Online fundraising struggles to cover essential needs. The chairwoman, with her modest pension, devotes everything to these animals, but it’s still not enough. Every day, it's becoming more difficult to meet the vital needs of these cats who are entirely dependent on us...
