Deaf and ill, Griot needs to regain strength...

1. He's deaf!

Griot is a cat of around three years, who was found extremely thin. He is suffering from deafness, which represents a significant daily challenge for him.

2. He's very sick…

Griot has cat flu, a tenacious and highly contagious virus. His eyes are weepy and his irritated nose is covered in scabs, making breathing difficult for him…

3. Canned food would help him regain strength

To regain strength in his present condition, Griot will need moist, highly appetising food.

Such canned food would incentivise him to eat regularly, allowing him to replenish his nutrient intake every day. This would fortify his body, enabling it to better combat the virus.

4. All our budget goes on veterinary fees…

Our association prioritises taking in old, ill or injured cats and dogs before finding them foster homes. As the veterinary fees are substantial, we organise raffles and shop collections for food.

But our stocks often run low, as we support many little charges: 16 puppies, five adult dogs, a dozen kittens, and fifty adult cats depend on us…
