1. He was undoubtedly abandoned…

Local residents pointed out Junior in a garden. He was skinny and hungry. He had neither a tattoo nor an identification chip, but he was very sociable, a real velcro cat! He was likely abandoned, like so many others...

2. The damp worsens his health

Junior has chronic cat flu. When we took him in, one of his eyes was completely closed due to the disease! He is being treated, but in winter when the air becomes damp, his flare-ups are more frequent. He sneezes, he coughs, he struggles to breathe...

3. A wet diet would help him recover

A wet diet could help Junior regain his strength. It would help him better fight his bouts of cat flu, by boosting his natural defences and promoting better recovery.

4. The bills are overwhelming us

We lost a donor who was ordering food directly for our cats. Today, with only five sponsorships, the bills for care and food are ruining us! We have to fund everything with a pension of 1,000 euros, while taking care of numerous elderly cats that are not adoptable.
