Poor Emma was going to be slaughtered for her meat!

1. She was going to be slaughtered for her meat...

Emma is a one-year-old ewe that we took in following a seizure last summer. The poor thing was about to be slaughtered for her meat!

Not long ago, she lost her pasture companion. Since then, she's lost her appetite and is a mere shadow of her former self...

2. Pellets would help her regain better health

With an appetising food like pellets, Emma could start eating with more enthusiasm. It would be an excellent source of vitamins, which would allow her to strengthen and get through the cold season more easily.

3. The period is extremely difficult!

We have an increasing number of animals to look after and have had to deal with a typhus epidemic amongst the cats.

With the wind and rain this winter, the pens and shelters for the equines have been damaged. Some animals unfortunately have their feet in water... Not to mention that the hay is of poor quality this year, so it's not nourishing enough!
