Les Chats Libres de la Canterrane decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.

Big Nose is unwell!

1. He has no place to rest

Gros Nez sleeps under cars or in sheltered corners. He doesn't have a safe place where he can rest.

2. He battles against the cold and illness

Living outside weakens him. He needs to battle against the cold and the moisture while trying to feed himself despite his illness.

3. Eating has become very difficult

He's been infected by other sick cats. His calicivirus prevents him from eating normally. He needs strength, but each meal is a struggle.

4. Canned food would help him eat

Chewing is difficult for him. Wet food would allow him to eat without pain!

5. Too many sick cats, and not enough resources

We are facing a major outbreak of calicivirus. Many cats are ill and require care. The veterinary expenses are high, and our resources are already too stretched. We're worried we may no longer be able to provide for the needs of the animals we help.
