Refuge Cheval Nature En Aquitaine decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of pellets is highly critical.

1. Increasingly fragile with age…

Izia is a 30-year-old mare, showing signs of senility. Her vision is deteriorating and she recently bumped into something, resulting in an eye ulcer. We've treated this, but she also experiences falls as she suffers from narcolepsy...

2. She can no longer chew!

Izia has lost seven teeth, making it impossible for her to grind her food. Eating hay is now an insurmountable task for her...

3. Moistened pellets would help her regain strength

A diet of moistened pellets would be ideal for Izia. This would allow her to easily consume them and replenish her body with essential nutrients on a daily basis. This could provide her the strength and health to cope with her advancing age.

4. The association is going through a difficult time…

Some of our horses that had been adopted have been abandoned again and have returned to the association. Currently, we have 12 animals under our care, which incurs significant costs.

We are doing our utmost to raise funds, but it's not enough as donations have drastically dropped!
