Refuge Cheval Nature En Aquitaine decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of pellets is highly critical.

Moon almost died from lymphangitis!

1. She has a delicate health...

Moon is a 29-year-old former broodmare, who has had numerous foals. As she ages, she tends to weaken if she is not supplemented... She also has a clubfoot, which sometimes causes her to limp.

2. She is prone to lymphangitis!

Upon her arrival, Moon had lymphangitis. One of her legs was severely inflamed, to the point that we almost lost her! We treated her, and continue to monitor her closely, in case she has a recurrence.

3. Pellets would help maintain her health

A nutrient-rich diet like pellets would be perfect for Moon. Regularly topping up her vitamins and minerals would allow her to remain healthy, despite the cold weather and her advancing age.

4. The association is facing a difficult time...

Some of our horses who had been adopted have been abandoned once again and have returned to the association. Currently, we have 12 charges to care for, resulting in significant costs.

We are doing our utmost to find funds, but it is not enough as donations have drastically reduced...
