Fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite: Pastis is suffering from kidney failure!

1. His kidneys are no longer functioning correctly!

Pastis is a cat of about five years old, who has lost a significant amount of weight lately. He was also constantly tired and had lost his appetite.

It turns out he has kidney failure: his kidneys are no longer effectively filtering toxins out of his system. As a result, we implemented an extensive treatment plan and placed him in a foster home.

2. Specific canned food would be safer for him

A diet specially formulated to support kidney function would be perfect for Pastis. Not only would it prevent dehydration, such food would stimulate his appetite and enable him to regain some weight. Thus, replenishing his energy every day would assist him to regain his health.

3. Our association is still very new...

Our association is located in the Gard and has been taking care of stray cats for a year. We have sterilised about thirty and feed nearly a hundred, which represent substantial costs. Sadly, the few adoptions we manage are far from covering all these expenses!
