1. She has great difficulty eating...

Shakira is an elderly cat, who is very feral. Unfortunately, she has caught calicivirus and has very inflamed gums. Eating has become particularly challenging for her, which explains why she has lost a lot of weight. Therefore, we have a treatment to administer to her...

2. She lives in the cold!

Shakira lives at a feeding site, as she is too feral to cope with indoors life. However, being exposed to the cold makes her vulnerable... We are very worried about her!

3. Canned food would allow her to regain strength more easily

Wet food would be perfect for Shakira. Apart from allowing her to feed without pain, such canned food would help her stock up on proteins, better to resist the winter cold. It would also be a good way for her to easily ingest her medications.

4. Between the cat flu and financial issues, the association is going through a rough patch!

At the start of this year, the association’s accounts are already in the red. We have several cases of cat flu, which doesn’t bode well… As for the cats, there are so many that we have stopped counting them!
