Mistreated, Galinette suffered a head trauma and lost sight in one eye!

1. She lost the use of an eye due to mistreatment!

Galinette is a nine-year-old cat, who was abandoned when her owners adopted a dog. Outdoors, she was mistreated and beaten!

Due to a cranial trauma that caused a brain haematoma, she unfortunately lost the sight in one eye...

2. She has cat flu...

Galinette also caught cat flu, a common ailment among street cats. Her nose is runny, she has little appetite and her eyes are constantly watering due to conjunctivitis. We are therefore trying to care for her to the best of our ability.

3. Canned food would help her regain strength

Appetising and easy to eat food would be ideal for Galinette. With canned paté, she could daily replenish her vitamins and proteins, to stay healthy despite the winter cold. Gradually, she could regain her strength and some of her symptoms could ease...

4. We won't manage much longer to cover all the costs ourselves...

Recently, we had to conduct many indispensable but costly veterinary tests, which represent very large bills.

With the association's accounts at zero, we have to pay everything out of our own pocket... But our resources are not unlimited, and we cannot keep getting into debt forever!
