1. She hasn't any teeth left!

Bagherra is an eight-year-old cat with calicivirus and dribbles a lot. We had all her teeth removed to reduce inflammation hotspots in her mouth. It offered her some relief, but she still experiences pain when eating.

Lately, she has lost a lot of weight. Therefore, we also place an oral gel in her food, so that she does not suffer when feeding.

2. Canned food would provide her with a means to regain her strength

Easy-to-swallow food, packed with essential nutrients, would be ideal for Bagherra. With tins of cat food, she could replenish her energy daily, to maintain her condition despite her illness. It would also allow her to gradually gain weight.

3. We can't continue paying everything out of our own pockets much longer...

Lately, we have had to do numerous costly but necessary vet exams, resulting in some rather hefty bills.

Since the association's accounts are exhausted, we are footing the whole bill... But our resources aren't unlimited, and we can't keep borrowing money indefinitely!
