Poor Saya lives outside even though she is ill...

1. She's ill!

Saya, a nearly three-year-old cat, is expectedly quite feral. Heartbreakingly, she has caught a cat flu and spends her time sniffling and sneezing. Her stuffy nose means she's lost her appetite and is becoming weaker...

2. She lives in the cold...

Saya sleeps outdoors as she is too wild to tolerate an indoor lifestyle. This exposure to the cold makes her more vulnerable... We are deeply worried about her!

3. Blankets would help keep her warm

A few blankets would assist Saya with maintaining her body heat. She could nestle into them for warmth and comfort, avoiding sleeping out on frozen ground. This would certainly be a major comfort to her!

4. Between typhus and financial woes, the rescue centre is sandwiched!

As we start a new year, the rescue centre's resources have dipped into the red. We have several typhus cases, which is certainly not an encouraging sign... As for the cats, they are so numerous that we have lost count!
