Chiquita was locked in a house and living in her own filth!

1. We saved her from a dreadful situation

Chiquita was found in appalling conditions: locked up in a house following the death of her owner, she was living with her sister amidst their own faeces! It was the police, alerted by the unpleasant smell, who enabled their rescue. This traumatic experience has deeply scarred the two dogs, who remain very skittish...

2. She has a plethora of health issues

Upon her arrival, Chiquita was in a worrying state: undernourished, she was suffering from generalised infections, particularly in her mouth. Dental treatment became a priority, and she has had to undergo multiple extractions, many very recently. In addition to these dental issues, she also has cardiac and digestive problems that require special attention.

3. Senior canned food would help her regain strength

Due to her multiple tooth extractions, Chiquita can no longer eat normally. Senior canned food, specially tailored to her condition, would allow her to eat without pain while benefiting from essential nutrients for her age and health conditions.

4. We are drowning in veterinary bills...

Our association mainly cares for sick and elderly dogs, often at the end of their lives. At the moment, we are taking care of 106 dogs, all suffering from serious conditions which require costly treatment. All our budget is spent on veterinary bills! We have no funds left to dedicate to their special food requirements, which are nonetheless essential and hence quite expensive. We truly need a helping hand to get us through this!
