Poor Macsou was neglected by his former owner!

1. Neglected by his former owner

Macsou was living with a seriously ill gentleman, who was no longer able to take care of him. In a state of advanced neglect, this little Yorkshire was entrusted to our association with the owner's approval. This solution allows his old master to maintain a connection, as our foster home is situated just opposite his.

2. He is missing a lot of teeth

The lack of dental care has had dramatic consequences: Macsou was suffering from widespread infections and a build-up of tartar so severe that we had to pull almost all of his teeth, including the canines. In addition, he has a testicular tumour that requires special attention.

3. Senior canned food would help him maintain his health

Without his teeth, Macsou can no longer eat properly. Senior canned food, specially designed for older dogs, would enable him to eat without difficulty while providing him with the essential nutrients he needs to maintain his health.

4. We're drowning in vet bills...

Our association primarily looks after sick, elderly dogs, many of whom are nearing the end of their lives. Currently, we’re taking care of 106 dogs, many of whom have severe medical conditions requiring costly treatments. All our budget goes towards vet bills! We don't have any budget left for food, which our dogs desperately need as they require special diets... which are very expensive. We really need a helping hand to get by!
