Praline was living in her own waste...

1. She was living amongst her own waste...

Praline was discovered in horrific conditions: trapped in a house after her owner's death, she was living with her sister Chiquita amongst their own faeces. The police, alerted by the smell, had to intervene. This trauma has deeply affected her and to this day, she remains very timid.

2. She has a multitude of health issues

When she arrived, Praline was in a worrying state: very thin, with infections all over her body, especially in her mouth. She had to undergo emergency dental extractions. In addition to this, she has heart and digestive issues which require regular monitoring.

3. Senior canned food would help her regain her strength

As she has lost many teeth, Praline can no longer eat normally. Senior canned food, suitable for her condition, would allow her to eat without pain and receive all the nutrients she needs to recover.

4. We are drowning in veterinary costs...

Our association mainly takes care of sick, elderly dogs often at the end of their lives. We are currently caring for 106 dogs, many with serious health issues that require expensive treatment. All our budget goes towards veterinary costs! We don't have any funds left for food, yet our dogs need specific – and therefore very costly – diets. We really need a helping hand to make ends meet!
