Poor Granita is blind and has a deformed jaw!

1. She is blind and struggles to move

Granita is a young six-year-old pony still bearing the scars of a difficult past. Left blind due to a disease that was never treated by her previous owner, she also suffers from severe locomotor problems.

Her delicate joints and deformed hooves make every movement painful and challenging for her.

2. Her jaw is deformed!

Granita also has a deformed jaw, which hinders her ability to eat. This deformation, exacerbated by malnutrition in her past, seriously weakens her.

3. Pellets would help her regain strength

Pellets are the ideal solution for Granita. This concentrated feed, easier to chew and digest than hay, would enable her to feed properly despite her deformed jaw. These pellets would help her gradually regain her strength and maintain a good general condition.

4. We are going through a tough period...

Our small association is going through a very difficult period. Without any subsidies, we have to solely take charge of 8 horses, 2 dogs and more than 30 wild cats. Despite having a job on the side to finance their needs, the situation is getting critical.

Organising collection drives in stores is increasingly difficult, as slots are filled up. Our last attempt only yielded 4 bags of pet food… As for online fundraising, it is not catching on, leaving us in a more precarious situation to feed all our animals.
