Tonga is a young, approximately 3-year-old cat who has multiple disabilities. She's ataxic, which affects her movements, and her eyes are too closely set, which gives her very limited vision. She also has hearing problems, which makes her even more vulnerable.
Despite a course of vitamins that allowed her to gain some weight, Tonga often has epileptic seizures. In a year, she's had four, with the last one occurring just a week ago! These seizures greatly weaken her.
Tonga's digestive issues greatly complicate her daily life. She tends to reject her food. Her appetite is weak and we absolutely need to find a solution so she can eat properly without becoming sick. Gastrointestinal canned food would be perfect for her!
Our small association is going through a very difficult period. Without grants, we're solely responsible for the care of 8 horses, 2 dogs, and over 30 feral cats. Despite working on the side to finance their needs, the situation is becoming critical.
Organising collections in-store is becoming increasingly difficult, with slots filled up. Our last attempt only brought in 4 bags of kibble... As for online funding, they're not successful, leaving us in an increasingly precarious situation to feed all our animals.
