The poor Ginger Cat has had broken ribs and is limping!

1. He was injured and still traumatised...

Chat Roux is a 15-year-old cat that has likely suffered abuse, for he's very fearful of humans. When we found him a year ago, the poor thing had broken ribs!

He also limps on his hind legs, which hinders his mobility. At times, he's in pain and lies low; during those instances, we administer pain relievers.

2. Canned food would help him take his medication

A wet and appealing food such as the canned senior cat food would make it easier for Chat Roux to swallow his medications.

It would also be an excellent source of energy, enabling him to healthily regain his strength. Given what he's been through, such a diet would certainly lift his spirits!

3. The winter season was harsh!

The winter in our area was exceptionally cold. We had high expenses as numerous cats fell ill! The budget required for their treatment meant less money available to feed them...
