In Romania, this shelter no longer has any kibbles to feed its 300 dogs!

Following an SOS, we went to the Remember Me Land shelter in Romania on May 8th.

The volunteers are desperate, there are only a few bags of kibble left, what will the dogs eat after that?

Foundations, government, no one wants to do anything to help this shelter, we are its last hope!

It is a really hard blow, while several dogs died last month.

We want to avoid further tragedies by urgently sending 4200 kg of kibble!

1) On May 8th, we went to Remember Me Land's shelter: the dogs do not survive the difficult living conditions of the boxes, many died last month ...

$$$ — Victim of a stroke on April 29, Seya was found dead in her box the day after ...

$$$ — After eating a rat that was in his box, Julia died on April 11 ...

$$$ — Falcon did not survive the disease that prevailed on April 16 ...

$$$ — Tigger's skin disease was too advanced, he passed away on April 23.

$$$ — Little Pauline was too young and weak to survive the difficult living conditions at the shelter, she passed away on April 20 ...

$$$ — Despite a month of being treated, difficult living conditions at the shelter made her weaker... She died last 27th of April.

$$$ — Julius did not survive the living conditions at the shelter, he died on April 27th ...

The 300 dogs of Remember Me Land's shelter have to live in open boxes: the wind, the rain and the cold are constantly breaking in.

When they are welcomed at the shelter, dogs already lived a life of wandering and abuse and do not always have the strength to survive these difficult conditions.

Remember Me's association tries to treat them with the support of Lucian, the shelter's veterinarian, but it is not always enough ... The lack of food may aggravate the situation!

2) During our visit, we found out that the food stock was empty! What will the 300 dogs eat?

The last Animal Webaction-funded collection has come to an end ....

### — The bowls are empty, the dogs will not have the strength to support the difficult living conditions of the shelter without good quality food!

### — Volunteers already tried to give bread to the dogs, but they became aggressive ... They must eat kibbles!

### — Stefan, Animal Webaction's team member, visited the shelter and noticed that the food stock was over...

Animal Webaction's kibble stock is empty: Lucian and the association must draw on their own resources to buy kibbles at the supermarket. But here is the problem: they neither have the financial means to buy good quality food, nor to plan the purchase of food on the long term.

Lucian therefore buys first price croquettes every two days, with the fear of seeing the day come when he will not be able to afford it anymore ...

3) We want to avoid a hecatomb and save the dogs we met by sending kibbles!

### — Tortured by his masters before being thrown into the street, Kennedy can now only see with one eye ... Without a good diet he may not survive the shelter!

### — Because he was too aggressive, Braco's masters wanted to euthanize him ... Lucian refused this practice! After a long work, Braco is now peaceful and is ready to be adopted: he will however have to survive in the shelter while waiting for his host family.

### — Goliath was keeping a flock of sheep. His masters abandoned him because he was no longer doing his job as a guard ... Goliath is old and needs a good diet to survive int the shelter.

### — Educated to fight, Tristan was very aggressive when he arrived at the shelter. Today able to be very friendly with human beings, he must remain locked up until a family wants to adopt him ...

### — Whitney lived in a dog farming: when she was no longer able to give birth to Rottweiler litters, she was abandoned in the streets ... She was able to gain weight since arriving at the shelter but is still weak: she needs kibbles to regain strength!

### — Extremely shy, Morwen has a lot of trouble getting used to the life in the shelter ...

4) If the collection fails, dogs won't receive any food

We can swing into action, we have already booked a truck and pallets, but we have to pay it before May 3rd.

If the collection fails, we will not be able to pay, the departure of the truck will be cancelled and none of the collected kibbles will be delivered...

If the collection fails, we will refund all donors

5) The City Hall does not keep its promises: the shelter is alone to pay the charges as well as the kibbles...

The Public Shelter has closed thanks to Remember Me's initiative, with Lucian's support. If the Town Hall had agreed that Remember Me Land's shelter would replace the pound, it had also promised to give them the budget allocated by the Government to street dogs. For several years now, the Town Hall continues to bring stray dogs to the shelter, without ever providing the promised financial assistance ...

The charges are many, and the association can not cover all the costs ... The purchase of kibbles for 300 dogs is their main concern!

6) Despite their calls for help, the association doesn't get enough donations to buy kibbles for 300 dogs!

As the supermarket collections do not work, the Town Hall does not keep its promises, and the only association supporting the shelter is Remember Me, Lucian has displayed several boxes of donations for in the city as well as in his veterinary practice.

The funds raised allow the shelter to finance food for the puppies, but are not enough to buy kibbles for the 300 dogs...

7) Lucian keeps fighting to save stray dogs!

The land on which the shelter is located belongs to the family of Lucian: Remember me Land could never have existed without him! Veterinarian and manager of the shelter on site, his dedication to stray animals is total.

Where many veterinarians refused to operate the dogs seeing no improvement, Lucian never lost hope: the refuge has seen many miracles being born thanks to his incredible involvement.

This collection is organized by the association Remember Me France. TheX kg of food collected will be delivered to Lucian to feed the 300 dogs hosted at the shelter.
