HORROR! Valcea's pound has not enough kibble for its 500 dogs, many already died locked in their boxes.
In Romania, Valcea's pound's 500 dogs live daily in misery and dirt: diseases proliferate and dogs die locked in their boxes ...
Without kibble, we fear a catastrophy: hunger is already causing deadly fights that are happening more and more often!
The Town Hall feeds the dogs only 3 times a week: Nicoleta tries to save them with bread but it is not enough!
We are the last hope to save these dogs.
We want to do someting quick and deliver 7,800 kilos of kibble to Nicoleta.
Note from Animal Webaction: The purpose of this collection was set by the association despite our indications, we disapprove because it seems too high and we fear a failure.
1) There are not enough kibble left at Valcea's shelter: weakened, dogs are killing themselves or die of diseases...
Last May, during a fight for kibble, Perry was seriously injured by the other dogs: he did not survive ...
Ariel died of a disease in May...
Gilda was too weak, she died of a disease in may...
Begining of june, Nevel died in a fight...
Nut almost died in a fight: Nicoleta saved him, he is still at the vet ...

The lack of kibble at Valcea's pound is making a lot of damage. Dogs live on an empty stomach: the Town Hall emplyees only feed them three times a week!
Usually, Nicoleta feeds the dogs the other four days of the week. But for a few days now, the stock is almost used out ... Hungry, the dogs kill each other for the few pieces of bread distributed by Nicoleta, and they are not strong enough to resist diseases ...

A failed collection on Animal Webaction
We can come into action, we have already booked a truck and pallets, but we have to pay it before the 18 of june.
If the collection fails, we will not be able to pay, the departure of the truck will be cancelled and none of the collected kibbles will be delivered...
If the collection fails, we will refund all donors.
7) To avoid the fights, Nicoleta buys the kibble herself! Today, she doesn't have the means anymore ... What will the dogs eat?
Feeding 500 dogs 4 times a week represents a huge budget!
The 70 kilos of kibble bought to feed the stray dogs will only hold a day ...
Nicoleta buys kibble as and when: every time she goes to the supermarket she spends huge amounts of her own money and donations! Today, even the donations she receives are not enough to keep up the pace ... In the meantime, Nicoleta tries to feed the dogs with bread, but this situation can not last very long ...
8) We had the pleasure of meeting Nicoleta who puts her life in parenthesis to save abandoned dogs ...
When we met her, Nicoleta was giving bread to the dogs.
Nicoleta runs a private shelter where she welcomes weak dogs coming from the pound or the street. Her daily routine is punctuated by feeding dogs, rescuing the weak ones and visiting the veterinary clinic ...
Today, it is completely outdated and no longer has the space or the funds to accommodate other dogs ... The 500 dogs of the pound are therefore condemned to stay in their boxes on an empty stomach!

This collection is organized by the association RespekTIERE Leben e.V. If this collection is successful, the 7800 kg of kibbles collected will be delivered to Nicoleta to feed the 500 dogs locked in Valcea's pound.
