1) The situation at Alina and Anda's shelter is dramatic: several dogs died last month...
During our visit to the shelter, we discovered Nala's body, which had just died of an illness a few minutes earlier....
Gus lost his fight with the disease a few days ago....
On June 2nd, Lola was rescued from the street by Alina and Anda. Unfortunately, her condition was too serious, she did not survive...

2) The stock of dry food is exhausted, the dogs have been eating bread for several days!

It is already over 40C° in Romania! On an empty stomach, dogs suffer more from heat.
3) Alina and Anda are desperate: donations do not stop declining, no foundation is helping them and the number of adoptions is decreasing as well.... They can't buy kibble anymore!

The costs of the shelter are considerable, and not enough people are helping both women. The government does not support the shelter, international foundations do not intervene, and donations are too low to cover all the expenses....
4) On June 6th, we went to the shelter: Alina and Anda have to live in unhealthy conditions, they don't even have drinking water!

The recent floods further complicate the management of daily tasks....
Due to lack of resources, Alina and Anda were forced to move in the shelter itself. Located near a landfill site, it has no drinkable water, and the fragile pipes force the two women to regularly fetch water from outside the compound.
For dogs to be able to drink, Alina and Anda must boil water regularly!
Difficult living conditions that compromise the purchase of kibble....
5) We want to save the dogs we met by sending kibbles!
After being hit by a train two years ago, Corbu was paralyzed for several months. Thanks to the treatment received at the shelter, he can now walk normally! Unfortunately Corbu remains very aggressive and must be tied up so as not to attack the other dogs

If the collection fails, we will refund all donors.
7) Alina and Anda can't even afford to vaccinate all the animals: how can 260 dogs be fed?
Calls for donations do not work....
There are not enough vaccines for all dogs!
Puppies are fragile, without vaccines and without food they may not survive...
Alina and Anda do not have the resources to vaccinate and sterilize all the dogs. Shall they treat the dogs, or feed them ? A terrible question that both women must ask themselves every day....
