Animal Webaction visited the site 12 August 2019 and confirms the situation described below.
1) To save what's left of her kibble stock, Mirela gives bread to her 120 dogs ... This protein free diet will kill them all!

The dogs are hungry, they throw themselves on the bread offered by Mirela.
Kibble are the only diet suitable for them! But the bowls are empty ...
There were only 6 days of kibble left: on August 19th there will be nothing left!
There are only a few days left of kibble at Mirela's shelter. To make up for the lack, she started giving pieces of bread to the 120 dogs she welcomes at her home. This diet is dangerous and can kill dogs if it lasts ...
Unfortunately Mirela has no any other solution for the moment, she is calling us for help!
2) 120 dogs live huddled in a field, fights are already happening, without kibble to calm them they will kill each other!
The refuge is saturated, the dogs live in Mirela's house!
But her garden is becoming too small...
Dogs don't have any space anymore !
Brcause of a lack of space, dogs are often annoyed and fights break out regularly ... As long as the construction of the new shelter is put on the stand, Mirela must continue to live as well.
Unfortunately, without kibble, dogs can become much more violent! We want to avoid wounds and send Mirela kibble in emergency!
3) The shelter is funded by Mirela and her husband's savings, no foundation is helping: they don't receive enough donation to buy kibble ...
The dogs in the pound are dying behind the bars, Mirela refuses to leave them there!
She tries to call for donations as she can ... Each euro counts!
90% of the shelter's expenses are financed by the savings of Mirela and her husband. Unfortunately, between care, shelter management, bills and veterinary fees, this is not enough! The only hope of the couple is to collect donations from individuals but until now, they are insufficient to buy kibble for all dogs ...
If the situation continues, Mirela will have to resign herself to let the dogs die in the pound and in the streets ... But she doesn't allow herself to think about it and tries everything for them!
4) If we don't reach the target, dogs won't receive any food

We can take action, we have already booked a truck and pallets, but we have to pay it before August 21.
If the collection fails, we will not be able to pay, the departure of the truck will be cancelled and none of the collected kibbles will be delivered...
If the collection fails, we will refund all donors.
5) Because of a lack of means, the work of the new shelter has stopped ... Mirela can not buy kibble!
Mirela is trying to raise funds to continue the work of the shelter.
The works are stopped while waiting to acquire more funds ...
Mirela's shelter can welcome up to 80 dogs. Today, 120 dogs are living in it! Mirela can not resign herself to letting dogs die in the street, so she continues to look after them.
Only here, dogs become aggressive because of a lack of space. Without kibble, dogs are likely to fight even more!
The construction of the new shelter is the last chance for Mirela to be able to welcome the dogs living in the hell of the streets, but without the necessary funds it will not be able to open its doors.

Anis was a puppy when Mirela found her asking for food in front of a store. She was badly injured! Today she is expecting a new family.

Noble had been thrown into the trash with his brothers ... He is the only one to have survived.

After several years in Italy, Mirela repatriated all her savings to help street dogs in Romania. Today unemployed, her finances no longer follow the frenetic pace of incessant rescues. However, she can't resign herself to leaving the dogs to certain death.
The construction of the new shelter is a chance for her and her husband to return to normal life while continuing to save lives. Unfortunately the work will not continue if it can not feed the dogs ...

This collection is organized by Europe 4 Strays. The 2400 kg of kibble collected will be delivered to Mirela to feed the 120 dogs in the shelter.
