"The association is having a lot of difficulty feeding the 350 cats under its responsibility.
The financial situation is at its lowest point. We have practically nothing left, and we have no resources.
With the lockdown we have had very few donations, and it is still very complicated to collect anything. We're really struggling. We need some kibble for these cats."
"We've had a lot of requests for interventions these last few times related to expectant cats, we've had 50 interventions to retrieve kittens, have them placed and neuter the mothers, only free cats.
There have been many interventions of extreme urgency, with vulnerable and really endangered cats. Cats have already been found dead, killed by local residents, and there have already been reports. Some cats are being tortured. We have to intervene very quickly, and we're the only association in the area."
"Chipie is about ten years old. She was rescued very young, stuck in the wheel well of a car. She has an eye virus that needs regular care. I could never give her for adoption because she's still very fearful.
For more than 6 years, I could not approach her, she came exclusively to eat at a nearby feeding place. As she gets older, she starts to become more compliant. She eats exclusively kibbles."
"We only operate with donations, it's a very difficult time for the association. The bills are piling up, and we're in the red zone.
Before the lockdown, once a month, we used to make collections to raise money for the association, and buy food for the cats. Unfortunately, that has been impossible for several months, and even with the lifting of the lockdown, it's still very difficult.
Financially, we're at the end of our rope... yet we have 350 cats counting on us!"
"Our association ensures the sterilization, identification, protection, domiciliation, sanitary and food monitoring of the "free cats" released on their living places or in our colonies. The abandoned or found kittens are put up for adoption.
We need even more help for this time following the lockdown,to continue to feed our little kitties."
