1. In France, Catherine has no more kibble to feed the 300 cats she cares for: they are going to starve!

"We are currently the only association in the Port Saint-Louis area in the South of France. The 300 free-roaming cats in the area rely on us. In the current sanitary and economic context, it is impossible for us to organize collections. And as we are a small association, we have no subsidies and people donate less.

It is a vicious circle, which pushes us to pay the cat food from our own pocket. Unfortunately, our current stocks won't allow us to last more than four days: the poor kitties are in danger of starving to death! »

2. Cats are weakened by the lack of kibble, they become preys for stray dogs, 15 have already died.

"Between hunters, cars and foxes, cats are not spared in this zone. The worst are the stray dogs: during lockdown, they wounded 15 cats to death!

If they continue to run out of food, the poor kitties will be less reactive to defend themselves and escape from the dogs' attacks. We fear the worst! »

3. Without kibble, the most fragile cats will not hold on for long...

"Noiraud is a cat we found very young with one eye completely infected, after being attacked by seagulls. We immediately took him to the vet, but his eye had to be removed anyway.

So the poor cat has to live with this handicap, which complicates his daily life. If we can't give him any more kibble, we don't know how he will find enough food to survive! »

4. The arrival of many kittens has put the association in trouble, it has no more kibble to feed the street cats .

"People call us very regularly to rescue kittens. Recently, we had to gather a dozen of them! Between milk, litters, blankets and special kibbles for those who are weaned, the expenses are titanic! »

5. Catherine doesn't want to receive any money, only kibble to feed the street cats.

"I have been involved in the animal cause for 25 years, and the association has been involved in the field to help free-roaming cats for 10 years. But we have the feeling that we have reached the end of our resources.

Every morning, we wake up and wonder where we're going to find the money to feed our cats... Kibbles are essential for them, we can't let them down! »
