1. Without the association, 770 cats are at risk of starving!

"Our association currently feeds near to 500 cats on 43 feeding sites. On top of that, no less than 270 cats are taken care of in foster families!

For fear of being contaminated by Covid-19, many people have abandoned their cats during confinement. Pregnant cats, sick cats and kittens not yet weaned have thus found themselves in the street, completely left to their own devices!

Every day, we have to buy food for these cats because they rely on us. But we are starting to be overwhelmed... Without us, these 770 cats might starve to death! »

2. Without food, the most vulnerable cats will not be able to hold on for long

"Mascot was found with his paw stuck to a fence. Despite the help of the firefighters to rescue her, the vet had to amputate it. Once she got better, we had to release her: used to living in the open air, she couldn't stand being in a house...

But how will she cope with her disability all alone outside ? How will she find something to eat, if we have no more food to bring her? We had hoped it would never come to that, but our current difficulties are making us imagine the worst...".

3. Because of the sanitary crisis, donations are even rarer and expenses are piling up.

"Every week we have several sick cats to take to the vet. The vet bills are piling up, we are overwhelmed! We often pay the money up front at the vet's, to make sure we'll have the cats covered, but despite all our efforts, the association is running a deficit of 2,000 to 3,000 euros each year... The situation is getting more and more complicated! »

Unfortunately, so far, we have not yet been able to organize collections because of the sanitary context. And it is not the donations that will get us out of here: as they are afraid for the future, people prefer to put the money they have in the bank, rather than give it to organizations to help the animals...".

"Since 2001, we have been committed to the animal cause. We hardly take vacations anymore: all our time is dedicated to the cats, who have no one but us to rely on.
