Blind and ill, poor Pilloune has a difficult life...
It is always a huge disappointment to see a campaign fail, it means that the concerned animals will not receive any help. Unfortunately, we can not ship incomplete campaigns.
We want to maximize the help we are all bringing to the animals in distress. Our campaign goals are calculated to balance our storage, delivery and manufacturing costs of the offered products.
Delivering failed campaigns would generate too many costs, which would eventually lead to the bankruptcy of the website and leave all the animals that we could have helped alone...
The delivery of unfinished campaigns is also physically impossible for some products (if only 50% of a kennel is financed: we can not cut it in half).
Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to transfer money instead of the advertised product (article L 548-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code).
For this reason, when a campaign fails, donations are immediately refunded. If they want to, donors can send this money directly to the association.
Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to use the money for anything else than the original use announced in the campaign (article L 548-1).
So, unfortunately, we are not allowed to transfer donations from a campaign to another.
Free clicks are saved before being reallocated to other campaigns (free clicks being immaterial, they are not submited to the same obligations than financial donations).
This campaign failed, it won't be delivered... Collected quantities have been cancelled (payments have been transfered back and free clicks have been saved in a stock).

Animal Webaction visited the site 18 October 2020 and confirms the situation described below.
"The lack in donations is very noticeable, There are simply no funds.... The only explanation that I can find is that people tend to think about their selves more than they did before.
For us, it has direct repercusssions : daily, we need at least 6/7 bags of kibble and right now, the maximum we can give them is 3-4 bags. We do not have enough food, and we are giving the cheapest kibbles on the market, because that's all we can afford...
The quality is not optimal, some dogs are losing hair because of it. And with the cold season approaching fast, it's very stressful not to know if we'll be able to have enough food to give them. Winters are really harsh here, dogs need to eat a lot more to be able to subsist. I can tell they are already getting more nervous and aggressive."
"There are 103 dogs at the shelter at the moment. That's as many dogs as we had in August, for our last campaign. The crisis has made our adoption rates drop. At the moment, Setella is our only dog who is reserved, but we still don't know when she will be able to leave the shelter, so for the foresseable future, she will remain with us.
Of course, having less adoptions means we have more dogs here that we need to feed... I am hoping the situation with pandemic will change soon and people will feel much more secure and able to help others. That's the only way we can secure a new source of food for the dogs, that is enough in quantity and quality..."
"Šljoka is 12 years old and has been with us half her life already... Before we took her in, she was living as a stray and the dog catchers tried to take her away. We managed to rescue her just before, saving her from a very dark fate.
We've put her up for adoption but in 6 years, she has never once attracted any potential adopters unfortunately. Now she's very old and will surely finish her life at the shelter.
The least we can do is try to accommodate her as best as we can until then. She is healthy but doesn't move much, she definitely needs food, she's way more fragile than the other dogs."
"When all this started with the COVID, our adoptions stopped, because it is now much more expensive to send a dog through borders. People are not willing to adopt as much as a result, or at all in fact.
I know that everyone is struggling right now, many people lost their jobs and can't afford to help or adopt dogs from here and unfortunately, it does not seem like it will change in the near future. I am looking forward to the day when adoptions will be made easier so we can save even more dogs in need...
But currently, we have no adoptions, less donations, a debt at the vet's. We also need to build more doghouses and we need 1000 euros to vaccinate all the dogs against rabies. We're in a difficult situation and it's very hard to find new partners. We need your help!"
"My life is devoted to helping dogs. I have been helping dogs for 10 years now and I think that says much. In this amount of time, I have saved thousands of dogs that our government does not care about.
I do not have much time for myself or other things, but I know I am making a difference, and that's what matters the most to me. Our rescue is important, we save dogs from the streets, sterilize, vaccinate, heal...And when all goes well, we can send them to their forever home.
We bring a service to the community. In our area, we also give some food to dog owners every month, so at least we know they are well fed and won't be abandoned. Our rescue is needed and we need your help to continue."
Animal Webaction has a logistic platform in Bosnia which allows us to intervene quickly and deliver kibbles.
"Our only source of income at the moment, is the donations we receive sometimes, after contacting people over Facebook.
All the people who have answered said they are already helping other people and are unable to do more, and we understand. But with the pandemic, we're running out of options. Nothing works as efficiently as before.
We haven't managed to get new donations or partnerships and we are feeling nervous, anxious and powerless."
When a campaign fails, Animal Webaction cannot deliver the products. The beneficiary doesn't receive anything and the buyers are refunded.
