Pirate just had surgery for an eye tumor!

1. He had to have surgery on one eye...

Pirate had a tumor in his eye that needed to be removed. So the vet operated to remove it. Since then, we've been making sure that his wound heals...

2. He's going to need to rest!

Pirate was born in the street, but since his operation we have kept him in a convalescent home. This will allow him to recover some energy before winter.

3. Canned food would allow him to fill up with energy.

Very rich in proteins, the canned food would help Pirate to regain his strength.

4. These are particularly difficult times!

With this new quarantine, the cat bar that helped us to place the cats for adoption is forced to close. Since the establishment has no more money, we have to help it finance the cats' food.

Not to mention all the street cats that we take care of... we don't have enough money to finance everything!
