1. Without the association, 90 cats affected by the storm could starve to death!

"Our association feeds nearly 90 cats, spread over three feeding sites. Two of these sites are in the middle of nature, in particularly remote locations. We are the only ones who go there: without us to feed them, the cats risk dying of hunger...

The arrival of the merciless storm Alex on October 2nd has made our task even harder: going to these sites has become even more complicated, and our low finances don't allow us to buy enough kibble anymore... What will happen to the cats?"

2. The floods destroyed everything in their path, the cats are traumatized...

"When the storm hit a few weeks ago, the poor tomcats had nowhere to shelter themselves. They were frightened by the strong winds that hit the region and spent the whole storm in the rain!

Two colonies of about thirty cats each found themselves surrounded by the floods. The roads were so impracticable, the poor cats were basically cut off from the rest of the world...

Only a volunteer living nearby was able to feed the cats, until her supplies ran out. Since then, an access road has been put in place: we absolutely need to bring food to the site, to allow the cats to eat their fill before the harsh winter that awaits them!"

"Affected by the calicivirus and the AIDS of the cat, Fillette is one of the most fragile felines. As her immune system is compromised, she is much more vulnerable to viruses and parasites: she has lice, scabies in her ears and her anus even protrudes a few centimeters ...

For now, she is with us for treatment, but we will probably have to release her soon. Without food to regain her strength, Fillette will not last long... We have to be quick, because winter is coming! The humidity should give way to cold and snow in a short time... "

"In addition to the storm, we are overwhelmed by huge veterinary bills: all our free cats are old or sick and need a lot of care ...

As the period is not conducive to donations and the association's resources are at their lowest, it is impossible for us to invest in a new stock of kibbles!"
